Dr. Mark Ambrose has 30+ years of leadership experience as a Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, Elder, Counselor, Trainer, and Business Manager. Dr. Ambrose began his career in business consulting for a National Consulting Firm in Los Angeles, Ca. After 10 years at the senior management level, Dr. Ambrose accepted God’s calling to go into full-time ministry, where he served as Executive Pastor for 10 years in a 3000 member church. It was the result of a difficult leadership transition that led Dr. Ambrose to step into a Lead Pastor role for 15+ years. During his 25+ years in pastoral ministry, Dr. Ambrose has personally experienced challenging leadership transitions and understands the deep hurt and pain that can be involved.

Dr. Ambrose has also served as an Elder alongside lay leadership for 25+ years. This has given him the unique insight from both a pastoral and congregant perspective, which is essential during times of church conflict. Dr. Ambrose has trained and encouraged leaders around the world, (i.e., Africa, Albania, Cuba, India, Kosovo, Mexico), providing leadership and pastoral training for church plants and established churches.

A native of Southern California, Dr. Ambrose earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Southern California. He also earned his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Doctorate (D.Min.) degrees from Talbot School of Theology, completing his doctoral thesis in congregational recovery from a “Damaged Pulpit”.

Dr. Ambrose has been married since 1982 to his best friend and beautiful wife Susan. Together they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
